So like many others, I've slacked off on updating my blog. For the few of you that read this that don't already know... we're having a girl! Funny enough, I had gut feeling it was a girl and started looking at girl names in July and had already placed 'Audrey' as a favorite. After consulting the HUGE baby name book, Jay and I both agreed that 'Audrey' was still the best fit. So... Audrey Tichy it is!
And now, to decorate and paint Audrey's room.
Here are some of my favorite Etsy items that are inspiring the decor:
One of my best friends bought me some of this fabric for my birthday, unknowing that a few weeks later it would be part of the theme/colors for Audrey's room.
And for the people that know that I'm a Audrey Hepburn way (but in no way am naming my child after her,) I thought this would be a beautiful saying to somehow (and somewhere) incorporate into the room:
I want to make a fabric bunting out of fabric that I have (if you've seen my stash you'll know that I have a variety to choose from.) I'm hoping the bunting would help pull the two colors of the room together.
I'm not sure if I'll go the glitter route or maybe glue cute buttons and ribbon to the front of the clothespins and hang along a wall to display pictures and eventually artwork.
I used to get the birthday ones when I was little and I love that her potential birthstone will match her room color.
